Join us online for a special series of community classes exploring movement, music, and creativity June 25-27. Offered in conjunction with our Advanced Training Workshop for teachers from around the world, these classes feature Dance for PD faculty, guest teaching artists from New York City and beyond, and a vibrant community of participants living with Parkinson’s and care partners. Classes are organized by genre - with a free sample class offered in each style. The Dance for PD channel is organized by teacher.

Our Members' Digital Class Library, with more than 400 selections at your fingertips, now features a different On Demand class each week. Just log in with your member credentials, visit the On Demand portal, and find the Featured Class channel to revisit a gem from our archives.

Dance by Phone

Dance for PD’s Dance by Phone initiative invites people without internet access or digital technology to benefit from the experience of a dance class wherever they are and whenever they want a movement session, just by dialing a number on a telephone.

The system is easy to use and toll-free within North America. To access this resource, call 1-800-957-1046.

When prompted from the main menu, press 4 - then select the activity you’d like to do by entering an extension number from the menu:

▪    1 – Introduction (please listen to this message the first time you use the system)
▪    2 – Sun Salutation
▪    3 – Painting
▪    4 – Hand and Foot dance
▪    5 – Rock, Paper, Scissors
▪    6 – Broadway number
