In Dance for PD® classes, you'll explore movement and music in ways that are enjoyable, stimulating and creative. This award-winning, research-backed global program is designed for people living with Parkinson's but appropriate for anyone with mobility concerns. No dance experience is required. Seated or standing, you will explore elements of different dance styles with expert teaching artists and energizing and inspiring live music as guides.

Sing for PD classes are led by professional musicians who share their joy of singing and the knowledge they have acquired through years of training about how to project their voices and enunciate clearly.  Participants focus on breath and rhythm in support of articulation and projection, as well as choral explorations of Broadway favorites, American standards, and specialized styles. Classes are offered free of charge to persons with PD and their accompanying care partners. 

A program of the Mark Morris Dance Group, Dance for PD serves as a model for classes in more than 500 communities in 30 countries around the world. For more information about Dance for PD, please visit www.danceforpd.org.
