A new film

From Emmy-nominated filmmaker Sarah Teale, this deeply personal and urgent documentary investigates the potential environmental causes of Parkinson’s disease. What began as one family’s story—following the diagnosis of the filmmaker’s husband, Gordon Chaplin—quickly expanded into a shocking discovery: 36 neighbors in their small upstate New York town were also living with Parkinson’s. Featuring Dr. Ray Dorsey, co-author of The Parkinson's Plan, the film follows a groundbreaking scientific inquiry into this unexpected hotspot and explores the broader environmental factors contributing to Parkinson’s. Our Members' Digital Class Library, with more than 400 selections at your fingertips, now features a different On Demand class each week. Just log in with your member credentials, visit the On Demand portal, and find the Featured Class channel to revisit a gem from our archives.

Dance by Phone

Dance for PD’s Dance by Phone initiative invites people without internet access or digital technology to benefit from the experience of a dance class wherever they are and whenever they want a movement session, just by dialing a number on a telephone.

The system is easy to use and toll-free within North America. To access this resource, call 1-800-957-1046.

When prompted from the main menu, press 4 - then select the activity you’d like to do by entering an extension number from the menu:
