Free classes for people with Parkinson's, their families, friends, and care partners
 

In Dance for PD® classes, you'll explore movement and music in ways that are enjoyable, stimulating and creative. This award-winning, research-backed global program is designed for people living with Parkinson's but appropriate for anyone with mobility concerns. No dance experience is required. Seated or standing, you will explore elements of different dance styles with expert teaching artists and energizing and inspiring live music as guides.

A program of the Mark Morris Dance Group, Dance for PD serves as a model for classes in more than 400 communities in 30 countries around the world. For more information about Dance for PD, please visit www.danceforpd.org.

COVID-19 safety protocols

In order to welcome all members of the Parkinson's community in our programming, proof of vaccination is no longer required to participate in Dance for PD classes with the exception of those taking place at The Juilliard School and the Center for Adults Living Well at the YM/YHWA of Washington Heights and Inwood.

We ask you to self-screen for symptoms before coming to in person classes and stay home if you are feeling unwell.

Masks are strongly recommended, but not required to join us. All choices are respected.
